Ministry of Education Launches National Project in Murzuq Basin

Murzuq – Libya’s Ministry of Education has launched the National Project in the Murzuq Basin, targeting several educational centers in Traghan, Sharqiya, Tejerhi, and Qatrun. The initiative aims to develop the educational process and improve the skills of teaching staff.

The project is being implemented under the direct guidance of Minister of Education Jumaa Al-Jadid, with oversight from Minister’s Office Director Abdelhafid Al-Tarhouni and Mohamed Al-Souei, Director General of the Center for Training and Educational Development.

Supervision of the program is led by Abdulazim Areesh, Director of the Sebha Training and Development Center, along with committee members trainer Abdulwahab Ghanem and teacher Mohamed Omar Mukhtar. They are responsible for monitoring progress and ensuring the project’s objectives are met according to the approved plan.

The Ministry stated that this initiative supports and develops the education sector in southern Libya, aiming to enhance the proficiency of teachers and educational institutions. The project is expected to improve the quality of education and achieve better outcomes in the field.
