MP: Voting on confidence withdrawal from GNU was legal and correct

Tuesday, September 21, 2021 National 1 Min Read

Voting on confidence withdrawal from the Government of National Unity (GNU) was carried out legally and correctly, according to Member of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), Hana Budeeb.

“It is not true that HoR would assign another prime minister after withdrawing confidence from GNU,” Budeeb said in a press statement.

“GNU will turn into a caretaker government until the next elections,” she added.
