National Oil Corporation warns of fake job advertisements and suspicious online links

Tripoli – The National Oil Corporation (NOC) warns citizens of the danger of what is being circulated on some anonymous pages and platforms on “Facebook,” consisting of fake advertisements falsely attributed to the Corporation or its affiliated oil companies, claiming to open recruitment and inviting registration through electronic links from unknown sources.

The Corporation confirms that these links are often used for malicious purposes, including data theft and hacking of personal accounts, warning against interacting with or clicking on them under any circumstances.

The National Oil Corporation calls on all citizens to be cautious and not to be drawn in by these suspicious pages, stressing that any official announcement it issues, whether regarding employment or any other matter, is published only on its official website or through its official blue-tick verified page on “Facebook.”

The Corporation reaffirms its commitment to transparency and clarity in all matters related to its activities, calling on the media and the esteemed public to obtain information only from its official and accredited sources.
