Clashes erupted earlier this morning between forces Libya’s Government of National Unity and the Libyan National Army (LNA) in Sabha, according to multiple press reports.
Special Advisor of UN Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, has stressed “the importance of respecting the overwhelming demand of the Libyan people to elect their representatives through a free, fair and credible election,” in a meeting with the First Deputy Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR).
