Sebha – As part of the continuous follow-up of development and service projects in various regions of the country, the National Development Agency (NDA) held a joint meeting this morning in Sebha with representatives of SRJ, the Turkish company implementing the Mosheir Mosque project, which is the largest mosque in southern Libya.
The meeting focused on discussing the stages of implementation of the project and reviewing mechanisms to accelerate the pace of work to ensure its completion according to the timetable and approved standards.
The implementation of this vital project comes under the direct guidance and patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in a move that reflects his keenness to support sustainable development efforts and strengthen religious and urban infrastructure in the city of Sebha.
The Mosheir Mosque is seen as an important religious and cultural landmark, embodying the spiritual identity of the region and confirming Sebha’s status as a symbol of diversity and cultural depth in southern Libya.
