Tripoli – Brega Petroleum Marketing Company announced on Wednesday the arrival of the oil tanker “Meteora” at the port of Tripoli, carrying a fuel shipment of over 37 million liters of gasoline, as part of continuous efforts to secure the local market’s fuel needs.
In a statement, the company clarified that the unloading process began immediately upon the tanker’s docking. The fuel is being pumped into distribution trucks responsible for supplying gas stations within the capital, Tripoli, and its neighboring areas, ensuring the continuation of service and meeting demand.
This follows the arrival of the tanker “Easterly Symphon” just a few days prior, which docked at the Tripoli port’s oil terminal last Saturday carrying approximately 35 million liters of gasoline, as part of a pre-programmed supply schedule.
Brega Company reassured citizens that the fuel quantities available in its depots are sufficient to cover needs, emphasizing that distribution to gas stations is ongoing 24/7 to ensure a stable and uninterrupted supply.
