The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced it held a meeting to review the conditions of the Sarir refinery and the Marsa Al-Hariga refinery in Tobruk, based on the findings of field visits conducted by a joint team from the company, Brega Company, and the National Oil Corporation.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the company’s Management Committee, Mohamed bin Shatwan, who presented a summary of the two previous meetings; the first held via video conference on October 12, and the second hosted by the company on November 5, to discuss the progress of the assigned team and to monitor the workflow at the two refineries.
According to the company’s statement, the meeting addressed the monitoring of fuel pumping systems to the Al-Shuala depot, which belongs to Brega Company, in addition to reviewing the status of the pumping lines connected to the Marsa Tobruk refinery. Attendees also exchanged technical observations to help increase operational efficiency and ensure the rights of all participating parties.
During the meeting, bin Shatwan stressed the necessity of setting an early date to take a final position on the points raised, in preparation for submitting clear recommendations to the National Oil Corporation with the aim of enhancing work efficiency and continuity.
