Mustafa Sanalla, chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), spoke on Tuesday with the heads of the management committees of the NOC subsidiaries to evaluate COVID-19 measures and discuss increasing awareness campaigns of the virus.
According to a statement by the NOC, the meeting call covered the result summary of the tours of inspection carried out by The NOC’S Department of Health, Safety and Environment, which included all oil sites commissioned by the Corporation’s board, in order to “evaluate the precautionary measures taken to contain the spread of the virus, and to deal with suspected and confirmed cases as they occur in the best possible way.”
At the end of the meeting, Sanalla issued “detailed instructions to intensify efforts for a safe and healthy work environment for all employees at the oil fields, ports and sites.”
