Qatar’s development fund has signed a grant deal with The International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS), which is based in Doha, to “empower youth and promoting peace and development in in Libya through sport”, the ICSS said on Wednesday, without disclosing the name of the Libyan party that partnered with the two organizations to implement this project.

The joint project, which would be conducted under the ICSS program ‘Save The Dream’, will be based on a “preparatory in-depth study revealing the situation of the Libyan youth, their aspiration, and their role in post-conflict reconstruction as actor of positive change,” ICSS said via Twitter.

This project, reportedly aims to use sport as a tool to facilitate skills development and reintegration in post-conflict situations for youth and children.
