The National Oil Corporation (NOC) and General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) have reviewed the challenges facing the latter in terms of supplying power grids with electricity.
According to NOC, the discussion took place during a meeting between chairman of the oil company, Farhat bin Qadara, and his GECOL counterpart, Omar Al-Mashai, at NOC headquarters on Tuesday.
the two managers talked about the difficulties and challenges facing the energy sector, as well as the possibility of investing in renewable energy projects, and studying the possibility of supplying power stations with gas, according to the corporation’s statement.
