Tripoli – The National Oil Corporation (NOC) delivered on Thursday a package of advanced specialized software licenses to the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tripoli, in cooperation with the international company “Schlumberger,” in a move aimed at supporting digital transformation and enhancing national academic capabilities.
This support embodies the joint academic cooperation program between the oil sector and Libyan universities, as the Corporation seeks through this initiative to provide educational institutions with the latest internationally applicable technologies. This effort aims to develop curricula by integrating modern software into educational tracks and to qualify human resources by raising the efficiency of students and faculty members to keep pace with global labor market requirements, ultimately achieving sustainability by investing in education as a fundamental pillar for building institutions capable of leading the future of the energy sector.
For its part, the National Oil Corporation confirmed its continued sponsorship and implementation of projects targeting “investment in people,” emphasizing that empowering Libyan youth with advanced technical means is the best way to ensure the sustainability of national resources and face future technical challenges.
