TRIPOLI – The Presidential Council told Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh on Tuesday that if he doesn’t attend Sunday meeting to name defense minister, those gathered will name one without him.
In a statement addressed to Dbeibeh, the council said if the premier doesn’t attend the meeting, the council members would nominate a minister and refer the matter to the House of Representatives to vote on confirmation.
