Qatar hosts Al-Udeid Air Base. This is the largest American base in the region. The base has been subjected to a series of attacks. These attacks began on February 28. This was following the start of the Iranian assault.
Majed Al-Ansari is the spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He affirmed that Qatar has not participated in the war against Iran. Qatar is exercising its legitimate right to self-defense. It aims to deter Iranian aggression. He urged media outlets to rely on official Qatari sources.
