Tripoli – Brega Petroleum Marketing Company announced that its Tripoli oil depot has received 49 liquefied gas tanks with capacities ranging from 30 to 40 cubic meters. The tanks have been stored at the depot in preparation for their installation in several municipalities, as part of the company’s “Instant Platforms for Filling Gas Cylinders” project.
In a statement, the company explained that the handover was supervised by the Operations and Technical Support Coordination, in coordination with the Tripoli region administration, the Tripoli oil depot coordinator, as well as the Emergency Support section of the Land Transport and Maintenance departments. This comes as part of the company’s plan to develop and expand its operational services in various regions of the country.
The General Manager of Operations affirmed that Brega Company is moving steadily toward completing the supply and operation of the instant platforms for filling gas cylinders, along with transport trucks and supporting operational and technical equipment. He noted that these efforts aim to enhance supply efficiency and contribute to permanently resolving the cooking gas crisis.
The company stated that this step is part of Brega’s strategic directives aimed at ensuring the availability of cooking gas and improving its distribution services in various municipalities, with direct support from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Fouad Ali Belrahim, and under the supervision of the General Administration of Operations for the Western and Southern regions. This is part of national efforts to enhance service stability and alleviate the burdens on citizens.
