Instant Gas Platform in Tawergha… 200 Cylinders Per Hour to Boost Supply

The Misrata region management of Brega Petroleum Marketing Company has inaugurated an instant gas refilling platform in the Tawergha municipal branch, in a move aimed at expanding the service’s scope and improving its reach to various areas.

The project was supported by the company’s Board of Directors and received direct supervision from the Misrata region management from its initial stages. The inauguration was attended by representatives from the Misrata municipality and the Tawergha municipal branch, the Council of Elders and Notables, the Joint Operations Force, and the Petroleum Facilities Guard, along with coordinators from the company’s various departments and sections.

The coordinations of General Services, Maintenance, Occupational Health and Safety, and Industrial Security contributed with national personnel to the project’s implementation, from the preliminary and civil works all the way to full operation.

The platform features a main tank with a 21-ton capacity (approximately 43,000 liters), capable of filling around 1,400 15 kg cylinders and 1,900 11 kg cylinders. It operates with four advanced filling machines that can fill a cylinder in one minute, bringing the total capacity to about 200 cylinders per hour, complete with a cooling system and pressure relief valves.

The platform embodies Brega Company’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure, improving services, and meeting demand quickly and efficiently, thereby enhancing the customer experience and supporting service stability in the gas refilling sector.
