Benghazi – The Benghazi youth derby between Al-Nassr and Al-Ahly Benghazi ended in a 1-1 draw, in a match held this morning at the Al-Hilal Club stadium, as part of the first round of the youth league organized by the Benghazi Football Sub-Federation.
The match featured strong and balanced competition between the two teams, as they traded control and each side missed several scoring opportunities, ending the game with the points shared in the tournament opener.
This league is one of the newly established tournaments following the Libyan Football Federation’s introduction of new amendments to the age group classifications. The youth league now includes players born in 2013 and 2014, as part of a plan aimed at developing young talent and organizing competitions according to modern technical standards.
