State Minister for Communication and Political Affairs Walid El Lafi said that Libyan press in general is in dire need of electronic archiving to be available to all.
During the launching ceremony of the electronic archiving project for the Libyan press, Al-Lafi added that the government paid attention to electronic archiving and adopted the vision of restoring life to the media sector.
The Minister of State continued, “Our vision was not about controlling the media, but rather focused on development and training.”
Al-Lafi pointed out that all those interested in media and journalism can access the electronic archiving website.
He stated that the Council of Ministers decided, at its tenth meeting in 2021, to establish the Libyan Television Museum.
Al-Lafi explained that the TV Museum will take care of all the technical treatments that will be carried out on all archival materials.
