U.S. refutes false news of western plan to delay Libya elections

(Exclusive) US envoy pushes for Libyan presidential elections delay
U.S. Ambassador and Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, has noted and refuted false stories recently carried by Erem News and The New Arab that cited unnamed sources claiming a western plan to delay Libya elections, according to U.S. Embassy in Libya.
“The United States continues to support free and fair elections in Libya as early as possible,” The Embassy tweeted on Monday.
