Salouq – The technical and engineering teams have completed urgent maintenance work. This work was on the Great Man-Made River line. It was carried out according to the planned schedule. The teams belong to the Great Man-Made River Project Implementation and Management Authority. They cooperated with the River Pipes Manufacturing and Construction Company.
The teams also successfully controlled a leak. This leak was at station (620+149). The station is near the Omar Al-Mukhtar reservoir. This is in Salouq city. The teams have started refilling the pipeline. Water is expected to reach the Omar Al-Mukhtar reservoir. This should happen within two days.
