Benghazi – A specialized training course organized by the Ministry of Civil Service launched today, Sunday, at the Research Center in Benghazi, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the capabilities of government department employees and enable them to keep pace with the requirements of modern administration and the pillars of digital transformation.
The training program’s content includes enhancing the use of office computers to directly contribute to improving institutional performance. This is achieved through several practical modules, most notably: organized electronic data archiving instead of relying on traditional paper methods, preparing and submitting reports via modern digital means, facilitating the provision of services to citizens with greater accuracy and speed, and supporting institutional training localization mechanisms within government agencies.
In an exclusive statement to the Libyan News Agency, Fatima Al-Dhib, an international trainer certified by Microsoft and a faculty member at several Libyan universities, explained that this course represents a real qualitative leap within government development programs. She emphasized that the main goal of the program is to equip government employees with the digital skills to use electronic tools in the modern work environment, which facilitates the completion of daily tasks and reduces reliance on traditional paper archiving.
Al-Dhib added that the current training program lasts for a full week, totaling ten training hours, and serves as an introduction to a series of upcoming courses that will focus on integrating electronic archiving with government work systems.
She stressed in her remarks that the course content has been carefully designed to suit the daily practical needs of employees in various departments. The course was held under the supervision of the Head of the Ministry of Civil Service’s Diwan in Benghazi, Saleh Karkara, whom she praised for his active role and continuous efforts in supporting training and professional development programs.
Al-Dhib noted that this program is part of an integrated plan implemented by the Ministry of Civil Service, which aims to establish a culture of electronic work and develop institutional performance in line with the state’s strategic directions towards comprehensive digital transformation and improving the efficiency of the country’s administrative apparatus.
