Benghazi – The training course titled “Work Environment Ethics” kicked off today, Sunday, as part of the activities of the Youth Development and Training Project, known as (Project 166). A group of trainees from various governmental and non-governmental sectors are participating, and the course will last for two days with an intensive training program.
The training package, presented by trainer Faraj Al-Barqi, covers a range of essential behavioral skills. It includes topics related to the reasons for the decline of ethical values within the work environment, the ethics required of both employees and employers, as well as an explanation of the concept of a code of conduct and the importance of professional awareness, especially concerning methods of dealing with clients and customers.
The course features interactive and open discussions among the trainees, aiming to review their practical experiences within their work environments and analyze the factors that lead to a demotivating work environment. It also addresses the phenomenon of workplace favoritism and its negative impact, in addition to discussing the exploitation of some employees’ lack of knowledge about their rights guaranteed by Libyan labor law.
This course is part of a series of training courses implemented by (Project 166), a national volunteer initiative launched in the middle of this year, in partnership with the Libyan Relief and Humanitarian Aid Agency, the Libyan News Agency, and the Libyan Child Bank Foundation.
The project also aims to train thousands of young men and women in various Libyan cities through hundreds of training courses covering multiple fields, in order to enhance their capabilities and improve their practical and social skills, paving the way for the successful completion of the program and the achievement of its developmental goals.
