Sebha – The National Committee for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances is continuing its awareness campaign activities in the city of Sebha, as part of the third phase of the campaign under the slogan: “No to Drugs… Yes to Life”.
In a statement to the Libyan News Agency, Abdelaziz Al-Awami, Chairman of the Committee at the Ministry of Youth, emphasized the importance of awareness and guidance in protecting youth from the dangers of drugs, noting that these efforts aim to enhance awareness and build a responsible generation capable of confronting this scourge.
Awareness lectures organized by the Committee were held at Al-Hurriya School for Basic Education in the city of Sebha, in the presence of the Anti-Drug and Psychotropic Substances Agency of the Southern Region and the Education Monitoring Office of the Sebha Municipality.
Al-Awami praised the cooperation of the school’s administration and teachers, expressing his great appreciation for the Committee’s awareness team for their continuous efforts in spreading cultural and health awareness among students.
