The National Oil Corporation discusses strengthening its cybersecurity

Tripoli – The General Department of Information and Digital Transformation at the National Oil Corporation held an extensive meeting. It took place at the Corporation’s headquarters in Tripoli. They discussed ways to enhance information security. They also aimed to strengthen joint coordination among its various affiliated companies.

The meeting was attended by IT department managers. These managers represented affiliated oil companies, centers, and institutes. Discussions focused on improving integration among the Corporation’s entities. This ensures the protection of sector-specific information and data. It also guards against any cyber attacks.

Attendees concluded that efforts must be combined. This applies to all entities under the National Oil Corporation. Sharing expertise is important. Learning from pioneering and successful experiences is crucial. This approach guarantees cybersecurity.

The participants called for continuous improvement. This includes enhancing the efficiency of national staff in information security. Their skills in digital transformation fields should be developed. This supports the Corporation’s aspirations and strategic goals.
