Tripoli International Stadium reopens with friendly match against AC Milan former stars

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, inaugurated on Friday the International Stadium of Tripoli with a solemn reopening ceremony in the presence of the head of the Council presidential, Mohamed Menfi, and numerous foreign ambassadors accredited in the North African country.

An audience of 35 thousand spectators witnessed a fireworks display before the friendly match between the former AC Milan stars and team players of Libya and Africa, which ended 3 to 1, broadcast by the Libyan television channels beIN Sports, by the Saudi sports channel SSC and by the AC Milan television channel.

The Tripoli International Stadium, which boasts a maximum capacity of 45 thousand spectators, reopened after maintenance work that lasted about two years.
