Turkey continues training armed groups in Western Libya

Turkish Defense Ministry said on Friday it continued training armed groups in Western Libya.

“Libyan soldiers are being given Basic Battle Training by our official staff,” the Ministry commented on pictures on its official Facebook page.
“As part of the Military Training, Assistance and Advice Agreement, we continue providing training to the Libyan Armed Forces. ‘Basic Combat Training’ was provided by our personnel to the Libyan soldiers,” it added.
It is noteworthy that the Libyan ceasefire agreement stipulated the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries from the country within 90 days, which began in October 2020.
