Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, General Commander of the Libyan National Army, called on Libyans to “register massively in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections, because it is the people’s decision and their right to change.”
“We will create all security conditions for the completion of the elections, and we will stand with full force against anyone who tries to prevent or suppress Libyans from exercising their electoral right,” Haftar added in press statements on Saturday.
