UN Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, said she met Tuesday with western members of the Libyan Joint military Committee, who updated her “on their upcoming technical work”, specially future plans on ceasefire monitors.
“I had a productive exchange today in Tripoli with the western members of the Joint Military Commission (JMC 5+5), in which they updated me on their upcoming technical work, particularly their future plans pertaining to national and international ceasefire monitors,” Williams tweeted.
“We also discussed the importance of preserving calm and maintaining security and stability in all parts of the country,” she added.
