Acting Head of UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Raisedon Zenenga met Monday with High Council of State (HCS) member and former President Abdurrahman Sewehli and exchanged views on ongoing efforts to resolve the political stalemate, maintain calm and defuse escalating tensions in and around Tripoli, according to UNSMIL.
They both stressed the imperative to put the electoral process back on track and noted that there can be no military solution to any aspect of the current political stalemate, UNSMIL said in a statement.
