UN Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, said she discussed latest developments in Libya with UAE Ambassador to Libya, Mohammed Alshamsi, where they stressed the need to coordinate efforts to maintain the momentum of the electoral process according to the LPDF roadmap endorsed by the UN Security Council.
“Discussed today the latest developments in Libya with UAE Ambassador to Libya, Mr Mohammed Alshamsi. We stressed the need to coordinate efforts to maintain the momentum of the electoral process, according to the UNSC-endorsed LPDF roadmap,” Williams tweeted on Wednesday.
