The US Embassy in Libya stated that Washington has provided over $20 million in COVID-19 funding and delivered 1.4 million vaccines to Libya since the start of the pandemic.
This came through the US Agency for International Development (USAID). “Our support has helped to get critical oxygen and cold chain equipment to health facilities across the country, as well as launch information campaigns explaining the importance of getting vaccinated”. The US Embassy added.
