US, Germany top diplomats underscore need for removing mercenaries out of Libya

BERLIN – The U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and his German counterpart, Heiko Maas, stressed upon the need to withdraw all foreign fighters out of Libya in order to stabilize the country.

Speaking during a joint press conference on Wednesday, the two diplomats also said that unifying Libya’s military institutions and holding national election in December are the among the main priorities for the international community.
