The U.N. Advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, expressed her hope that the month of Ramadan will be” an occasion to complete the path towards a stable, secure and prosperous Libya.”
The UN diplomat also congratulated the Libyan people on the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
“I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all dear Libyan people for the holy month of Ramadan,” Williams said via Twitter on Friday.
She expressed her “hope that this holy month will be a season of goodness, peace and consensus, and an occasion to complete the path towards a stable, secure and prosperous Libya.”
