Zallah – Preparations are underway in Zallah municipality. They are launching the first Al-Huruj Tourist Desert Rally. This event is for cars and desert bikes. It begins on February 5th. The rally will last for three consecutive days.
The Supreme Organizing Committee announced details. Rally events will take place 27 kilometers from the city center. The route spans sand dunes and valleys. Amateurs and professionals in mechanical sports will participate. They come from various Libyan regions and cities. Participants are from the east, south, and west.
Rashid Ahmed Al-Kilani is the official spokesperson for the Al-Huruj Desert Tourist Rally. He stated that the historic Zallah Castle will host the opening ceremony. The festival will feature diverse performances. Folk art troupes, knights, and rally participants will be involved. Exhibitions will also be held. These will include heritage and historical pavilions. Art, plastic arts, and traditional popular industries will be showcased. Evening art shows and poetry nights are planned. Various other entertainment activities will also take place.
Al-Kilani pointed out Zallah’s rich tourist attractions. The area boasts historical and archaeological landmarks. It also features deserts, mountains, and valleys. There are natural reserves for various wild animals. Both resident and migratory birds are found there. The rally aims to highlight these attractions. It seeks to showcase them to visitors. This will allow visitors to explore them closely.
