Egyptian Foreign Minister, Rania al-Mashat, announced the preparation of 13 joint agreements that would be signed during the meeting of the Libyan-Egyptian High Joint Commission, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, and his Egyptian counterpart, Mostafa Madbouly.
The agreements will include cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, youth, sports, social insurance, transportation, electricity and petroleum,
It is noteworthy that 11 other agreements were concluded between the two countries during Madbouly’s visit to Tripoli last April, which also included the fields of electricity, transportation, communications and others.
Al-Mashat referred to the importance of the Libyan-Egyptian Joint Commission’s meeting, which is being held for the first time since 2009, noting that it is evidence of the depth of relations between the two countries.
