The cargo ship AK GLORIO has arrived at the Sirte Free Zone port from Ukraine, carrying an estimated 7,500 tons of wheat destined for the Sirte flour mill.
Offloading and Transport to Factory Warehouses
The National Development Agency (NDA) stated through its media office that competent authorities have commenced offloading operations. The shipment will be transported sequentially to the factory’s warehouses, signaling the start of actual production at the new facility located in the Al-Zaafran district.

The NDA explained that this step is part of a series of economic support projects it is implementing. These efforts aim to enhance food security, support the stability of supply chains, and stimulate local production in the Sirte region and its surroundings.
