Dubai – World champion Mahmoud Ragab achieved a new sporting feat. He won the gold medal in the discus throw competition. This was part of the Dubai International Athletics Championship for People with Disabilities.
Mohammed Al-Fitouri is the Director of the Media Office at the Libyan Paralympic Committee. He told the LANA correspondent about the win. Mahmoud Ragab reached the podium. He recorded a distance of 46.23 meters. This confirmed his high readiness. It showed his continued impressive performance in international events.
Al-Fitouri added that this achievement reflects the efforts of the athlete and the technical staff. It also boosts the Libyan team’s chances. They are aiming to qualify for the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
