Al-Ahly Benghazi Reaches Libyan Cup Final

Tripoli – Al-Ahly Benghazi has advanced to the final of the Libyan Football Cup after defeating Al-Akhdar 4-2 on penalties in a dramatic semifinal.

The match ended in a draw during regular time, leading to a penalty shootout. Al-Ahly Benghazi’s penalty scorers were Jumaa Bu Reqeeqa, Abdullah Daqo, Moftah Taqtaq, and Ashraf Al-Maqsabi.

For Al-Akhdar, Ari Babel and Al-Ghazouli Noah converted their penalties, while Sand Al-Khamisi and Al-Taib missed their shots. Al-Ahly Benghazi will face the winner of the match between Al-Ahly Tripoli and Al-Ittihad in the final, scheduled for June 9 at Cairo International Stadium.
