Tripoli – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, met with Nguyen Nam Dung, the new accredited Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Libya. The meeting took place today, Monday, at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli.
Al-Baour congratulated the Vietnamese ambassador on his new appointment. He wished him success in his duties. Al-Baour emphasized the deep and distinguished relations between the two friendly nations. He highlighted Libya’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation. This cooperation covers various fields. It aims to serve the common interests of both countries.
Ambassador Nguyen Nam Dung expressed his gratitude. He thanked them for the support and facilities provided. He affirmed Vietnam’s commitment to developing cooperative relations with Libya. He also stressed enhancing bilateral partnership opportunities.
Both sides affirmed the importance of continued meetings and joint coordination. They also agreed to work on strengthening bilateral relations across all sectors. This will support and develop diplomatic ties between the two countries. The goal is to enhance friendship and mutual cooperation.
