Abdul Salam al-Rajhi has questioned the Dbeibeh government’s failure to provide schoolbooks. Al-Rajhi is the head of the Astrolabe Center for Studies and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
In a Facebook post, he criticized the government’s priorities. He asked, “Why does the Dbeibeh government succeed in importing Arab celebrities, but fail to import schoolbooks for our children and medicine for our patients?”
This question comes amid criticism of the government’s performance in providing basic services. The criticism focuses particularly on education and health.
