The Emergency Medicine and Support Center at Alkufra office continued its state of high alert for the third consecutive day, following the wave of heavy rain that hit the city on Monday, causing a complete power outage in all neighborhoods.
The center clarified that the measures taken included operating its clinic around the clock with full medical and nursing staff, providing necessary medications and scorpion antivenom, in addition to equipping ambulances with all necessary medical equipment and deploying field ambulance teams.
The center also called on citizens to exercise caution and be vigilant, stay away from waterways and low-lying areas prone to flooding, and adhere to the instructions issued by the competent authorities to ensure their safety and the safety of their families.
