The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that the investigative authority has filed a public lawsuit against the perpetrators of the murder of the victim, Yusuf Ibrahim Al-Tabawi, and the attempted murder of Mohammed Omar Hassan Al-Tabawi in the city of Kufra.
The office explained that the Public Prosecutor’s agent in the Kufra Primary Prosecution examined the circumstances surrounding the incident, which involved firing shots at the vehicle carrying the two victims in the New Kufra district.
The statement reported that investigations confirmed the involvement of the apprehended defendants in committing the act under investigation. The remaining necessary legal procedures were completed, and the defendants were referred to the judicial authority, held in pre-trial detention. Orders were also issued to apprehend and bring in the remaining individuals involved in the incident.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office affirmed its continued follow-up of the case to ensure accountability for all involved and to protect society and the rule of law.
