Apprehension of Wanted Persons and Contraband
Al-Jarari clarified this information in a statement. He spoke to the Libyan News Agency (WAL). The security operations led to the arrest of 70 wanted persons. They were sought in various cases. Some faced in-absentia judgments. Quantities of drugs and alcohol were also confiscated. Various weapons and ammunition were seized.
Traffic Violations as Part of Security Campaigns
Al-Jarari further noted the operations. They included seizing about 230 vehicles. These vehicles violated traffic laws. This is part of ongoing security measures. These measures aim to support stability. They also seek to enforce order in the municipality.
