Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha arrived in Tobruk on Monday to present his cabinet to the House of Representatives.
The parliament released a statement last Thursday confirming that it would convene a session on Monday.
The parliament had chosen former interior minister Bashagha earlier this month. However, the incumbent, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, has rejected the parliament’s moves, saying he will only relinquish power after a national election.
