Benghazi Mayor Saqr Bojwari met Wednesday with the President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Libya, Debbie Hurst, Vice President, Ahmed Al-Ghazali, and Chairman of Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Munim Al-Saiti.
The meeting discussed issues related to strengthening means of joint cooperation between the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya and the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, and overcoming obstacles in the field of trade and joint investment.
Bojwari welcomed the two communities and expressed his willingness to support joint cooperation and provide assistance in order to attract American investment and develop the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
AmCham Vice President Al-Ghazali confirmed the interest of AmCham in Libya to visit Benghazi due to the great economic importance of Benghazi.
He stated that the meeting was fruitful, as the participants expressed their sincere desire to work on consolidating ways of joint cooperation and work to overcome obstacles in the field of trade and joint investment.
