Benghazi – The Benghazi Education Oversight Department launched the “Teacher and Student” festival. Its slogan is “A Generation Builds a Nation.” The festival aims to support the educational process. It also seeks to enhance school activities. This will develop students’ skills. It will also refine their talents.
Wissam Al-Ashibi, head of the festival’s media committee, explained the details. The festival includes various educational and artistic activities. These activities feature theatrical and rhythmic performances. It also has cultural and artistic competitions. The goal is to showcase student talents. It encourages creativity and innovation among them.
He noted that the department formed several committees. These committees oversee the event’s organization. They include an organizing committee, a media committee, and a support committee. A competition committee was also formed. Al-Ashibi confirmed intensive preparations took place. This ensures the festival’s best possible presentation.
Professor Samira Al-Breiki supervised the female students’ gymnastics training. She is a faculty member at Benghazi University’s College of Physical Education and Sports Science. This training is part of the festival’s performances. It prepares shows reflecting students’ discipline and skill levels.
The festival is scheduled for May 24. It will be held at Benghazi International Stadium. This coincides with the 12th anniversary of the Dignity Revolution. A large attendance is expected. Educators, students, and parents will be present. The event combines education and creativity. It highlights the efforts of educational institutions. These efforts aim to build a creative and aware generation. This generation will contribute to national development.
