Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh held talks on Saturday with Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud on the margins of the second meeting of the Islamic Military Counter-terrorism Coalition in Riyadh.
Dbeibeh, who also serves as Libya’s Acting Defense Minister, discussed with the Saudi minister “potential aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the military field, training and counter-terrorism,” according to a statement by the Libyan premier’s media office.
Bin Salman reportedly “stressed the need to intensify consultations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Libya on the issue of combating terrorism, opening aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields of training”.
