Outgoing Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh said on Wednesday that the parliamentary elections, which he is government intends to hold in June, will lead to the removal of the current Libyan parties from political scene including his own government.
Speaking in televised address, Dbeibeh criticized the decision of House of Representatives to replace him with Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha. He accused the House of “fraud” during the process of passing vote of confidence to Bashagha’s government yesterday. Dbeibeh also applauded the few lawmakers who refused to vote.
