Deputy chief of Presidential Council, Italy’s Envoy discuss Libya elections

Abdulla al-Lafi, Deputy Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council, met on Sunday with Italy’s Special Envoy to Libya, Nicola Orlando, and Ambassador Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi in Tripoli, announced the council’s spokeswoman Najwa Wheba.

The three discussed “bilateral relations and ways to support the Libyan political process to hold presidential and parliamentary elections on a consensual constitutional basis as soon as possible,” according to brief statement by Wheba via Twitter.
