Guterres calls on Libyan parliament to define election mechanism & approve budget

BERLIN – The U.N. Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, called on Libya’s House of Representatives to approve the national budget and define the general basis for election mechanism in order to ensure progress of the peace process in the country.

Speaking during the second Berlin Conference on Wednesday, Guterres also called on U.N. member states to denote 189 million dollars to support elections in Libya.
