Electoral training for the polling phase of the municipal council elections for the third group – 2025, began on Saturday.
The High National Elections Commission stated that the training program targets training coordinators, core trainers, and collaborating staff at the electoral administration offices in Benghazi, Tobruk, Sirte, and Sabha. These offices, in turn, supervise the municipalities within their jurisdictions: Benghazi, Qaminis, Tokra, Suluq, Al-Abyar, Tobruk, Qasr al-Jedi, Sabha, and Sirte.
It added that the training includes a detailed explanation of polling day procedures, as well as a clarification of the sorting and counting mechanisms approved by the Commission, to ensure standardized work procedures within the centers and enhance the accuracy of task execution. The program will run for six days, consisting of two training groups, each lasting three days.
The Commission said that this activity is part of the High National Elections Commission’s plan to improve the efficiency of electoral staff and develop their capabilities, ensuring the highest level of readiness for the implementation of the polling day scheduled for this coming December.
